Pre school Pandas 17/01

Yesterday we started the lesson by doing a chant:
Teddy bear teddy bear touch your nose/toes/ground
Teddy bear teddy bear turn around
Teddy bear teddy bear jump up high/touch the sky
Then I asked the kids how they are and they replied “I’m hungry/good/not so good/sad.
We drew some letters on the floor, practiced the sound of letters and made movements around them practicing the sound:
Jump/walk/run to b, r, p
We also said words we know that have this sound.
Then I showed different numbers to the kids and they clapped as many times as the number shown and at the same time they were counting.
Vocabulary used: numbers 1-10, count with me, clap
We listened to a song from the book and sang all together.
Vocabulary used: numbers, count with me, lots of sticks
We tried to hide some sticks and tried to find them. Vocabulary used: how many, close your eyes, open your eyes, hot, warm, cold, very cold.
Then I got 3 green balloons and we said a very small story:
One green balloon, two green balloons, three green balloons POP POP POP, no balloons.
We practiced plural in words by showing one item and then adding more and saying how many?? e.g one stick (then take another stick) how many sticks? Two sticks.
In the end we sang some more songs and ate some chocolate.
Vocabulary used: make a circle, big, small, up, down, sit down, turn, hop, walk, run, drink some tea, birthday cake, blow the candles, climb the stairs, plane, train, car, bike, chocolate, here you are, thank you
