Pre-school Pandas 24/01
Good morning dear parents, Yesterday we started the lesson by asking students “how are you?” and “how old are you?”. Kids replied “I’m…..” Then we checked some flashcards together asking “Is it…?” And elicited the answer “No, it’s a….” Vocabulary used: robot, kite, car, plane, train, numbers 1-6, colours, ball, girl, boy, t-shirt, parts of body, turtle, panda, crocodile, rabbit, elephant, mouse, princess, bike, bag Then we played Simon says with instructions (sit down, stand up, turn around, touch the ground, dance, sing, open/close your eyes etc.) We sang the numbers chant again and we also learnt a new song (six little elephants) from the book. Then in SB p. 39 we played a game: I asked how many…? And children counted and said the number. I elicited the plural -s for words telling the difference between e.g one elephant and two elephantS Then kids asked each other “How many…?” Then we said a goodbye chant and finished the lesson.
