p. 143 Study the irregular verbs from hit-hit-hit to pay-paid paid

Writing: Imagine that you woke up from a long nap, only to realise that the aliens had arrived on the planet and had changed almost everything. 

Write a short story about the 

• things the aliens had done on the planet before you woke up.
• how you felt
• and what you did about it

Remember to use the past perfect  and the phrases, already, never, by the time to describe what the aliens had done on the planet. 

example: When I woke up from my nap, everything felt normal, although it wasn't. I realised that the aliens had just turned the whole planet pink.
